6 month Fixed Term Contract with a view to go permanent

£21,000 DOE + incentives

Working with our established HR team, the main purpose of this role is to provide a first class HR administrative service to key stakeholders within the relevant business areas. This is a 6 month fixed term role with the view of a permanent contract being rewarded to the right candidate. 



Key responsibilities of this HR Administrator role:

  • Ensuring all pre employment checks are completed including security and right to work checks
  • Providing support and cover to the HR Coordinators as and when required
  • Responding to reference requests when required
  • Monitor the HR inbox, escalating queries where necessary and responding within the agreed SLA’s
  • Assist with producing reports for CVC on a monthly basis
  • Dealing with ad hoc reports as and when requested
  • Ensure the new starter process is followed and completed accurately
  • Check payroll forms to ensure correct, ensure all payroll forms are authorised by relevant managers, processed with payroll and added on employee electronic file.
  • Complete E-filing as and when required ensuring files are maintained and up to date
  • Checking both the trial payroll and final payroll reports on a monthly basis for your business areas as and when required
  • Follow overpayment process as per overpayment procedure from finance
  • Updating the org chart with new starters and leavers and any internal transfers and promotions
  • Produce all relevant letters as per contractual amendment forms (Promotions/Transfers etc.)
  • Action all leavers and ensure they are removed from company systems
  • Supporting HR Managers and Team Leader with the pay review and bonus process
  • Ad hoc project work


To to be eligible for this HR Administrator role, you must:

  • Have strong experience in HR Administration
  • Experience in delivering first level HR Advice
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • PC literate and good administrative/reporting experience
  • Clear communication skills
  • Positive attitude and self motivated
  • Ability to work with confidential or sensitive issues
