£30,000 basic - OTE £45,000

Initial Medical, part of the Rentokil Initial Group, is a leading provider of a medical waste disposal service, to diverse and differing organisations! We supply Hospitals, Dental Surgeries, local GPs, Hospitals and Tattoo Parlours to name a few.  A top-rate service is an easy sale to any organisation  that requires disposal of hazardous items!

Initial Medical are looking for a dynamic and motivated Key Accounts Manager. Working closely with the head of Key accounts  and Area teams you will drive profitable growth within a sustainable portfolio.  When new business is won, the Key Account Manager will also be responsible for the ongoing account management of that customer.  It is expected that the role will consist of approximately 70% account management and 30% new business development activity.


The role is field based with extensive UK travel to visit existing & potential customers; there will be occasional requirements to stay away from home overnight.  Monthly team meetings are generally held in the National Support Centre, Camberley, although they may also take place in Regional Support offices.


What are we looking for:

  • Sales experience essential; account management and negotiation experience preferred
  • Detailed and technical understanding of Rentokil Pest Control’s procedures, policies, services and products
  • Internal and external influencing skills
  • Development and execution of new business development strategies
  • Building strategic relationships, both internally and externally.
  • IT literate (MS Excel and Powerpoint in particular).
  • Presentation skills
